MARK UPSC ("we", "us") is an AI-assisted UPSC exam preparation platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how our AI features use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
Several features on this platform — Answer Evaluation, the AI Mentor, and PYQ explanations — work by sending the text you submit (and limited context like your subject focus or recent question history) to third-party large language model providers in order to generate a response. We do not control how quickly those providers process data, and responses are generated automatically, without a human reviewing your submission first.
AI-generated content (evaluations, explanations, mentor replies) may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is intended to support your preparation, not to replace official UPSC materials, NCERT textbooks, or guidance from a qualified mentor or coaching faculty.
We do not use your personal answers or chat content to train our own AI models. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics (e.g. how many users attempt a quiz) to improve the product.
Account and activity data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and protected using industry-standard access controls. Payment details are handled directly by our payments partner (Razorpay) — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app (database hosting, AI model providers, and payment processing), and only to the extent required to provide the feature you're using.
This platform is intended for UPSC aspirants generally aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy as the product evolves, particularly as we add or change AI features. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
